This privacy statement, effective August 22, 2008, applies
to this webpage and certain other linked web pages on servers
owned by St. Mary and All Angels School (hereinafter “Sites”).
At St. Mary’s, we share your concerns about privacy. We have
created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our
firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information
gathering and dissemination practices for the site: www.smaa.org.
IP Address
We log all connections to our web servers. Those log files
include your IP address. An IP address is NOT personally
identifiable information, but general information about your
location, connection to the Internet, and your Internet Service
Provider. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems
with our server and to administer the Sites.
Cookies
"Cookies" are small pieces of information stored in a user's browser
that give that user a unique identification. If you
are accessing our protected content, we will use cookies
for authentication purposes only. All cookies are established
on a per session basis, and are not permanently stored on
your machine.
Contact Form
The Sites' contact forms request that users provide contact
information (such as their name, mailing address, telephone
number and e-mail address). We use this contact information
to send the user additional information about our school.
A user's contact information may also be used by us to contact
the user directly. We do not disclose, sell or rent your
contact information to third parties except when required
to disclose such information by law or in response to a request
from a law enforcement agency or authority.
In compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy
Protection Act, 15 U.S.C., §§ 6501-06 and 16 C.F.R., §§ 312.1-312.12,
our Sites do not permit children under 13 years of age to
become users, and we do not collect personally identifiable
information from children. By using our Sites, you
represent that you are not under 13 years of age.
Except with regard to any contact information you may provide
us via the Site, all comments, feedback, information or materials
submitted to St. Mary’s through or in association with this
website (collectively, “Feedback”) will
be considered non-confidential and the property of St. Mary’s. By
submitting such Feedback to St. Mary’s, you agree that you
assign to St. Mary’s, without charge, all worldwide rights,
title and interest, including copyrights and other intellectual
property rights, in and to the Feedback. St. Mary’s
shall be free to use such Feedback on an unrestricted basis.
Security
The Sites have security measures in place to protect
against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information
under our control; however, St. Mary’s does not guarantee
the performance or adequacy of such security measures.

The Sites contain links to other web sites that are not owned
or operated by St. Mary’s. St. Mary’s is not responsible
for the privacy policies or practices of third parties or
the content or security of such web sites.
